Here is the story of my father who was my inspiration and role model which made me to start this Journey and I hope will have your support and prayers to make this most successful to our people
My father was born in a small village, in a farming family and studied up to 8th standard and without money to study beyond that, he went to work from his childhood. At that early age, he was sincere and honest in his work and kind to others.
After his marriage, both my father and mother came to Chennai and did lot of jobs to survive. We can see dad only once a week and that's only on Sundays. He was not idle that day either. He would ask us to review what we had learned in school that week and how we were studying.
He didn't live the life as he got like a normal father and he suffered a lot for his children’s education and for their life. He did lot of jobs, and it will be surprised for us that how come a single person do different type of jobs. He was a night watchman, he was an office boy in the morning, he cleans the vehicles in the apartment where he was a watchman. He cleans the water tanks in the Saturdays and do the jobs given by the apartment people.
A great thing is that he never failed in his honesty and truth in any situation. There is no one who does not like him. And he never failed to do whatever he could to help those below him.
He never incurred any unnecessary expenses for himself
He sacrificed his entire life for his children’s. He passed away from this world due to heart disease at the age of 45 our Father G. Adam
The work done by our father and mother alone was not enough to cover the other expenses of living in a rented house in Chennai and making us study. Many good - hearten people did their best to support our family especially our education
I think of their help regardless of caste and religion. Their help to a struggling family without expecting anything in return is something that time will never forget. I think of the many good souls who bought us new clothes every Christmas.
I am the first son of my family and have been working in IT companies for more than 20 years. I am in good condition today by the grace of God in my father's blessing.
Every now and then I do my best to help people in need. Every year we give new clothes and food to the most helpless people on the roadside on the eve of the New Year. Yet my mind was still not satisfied with helping others. The reason is that cant forgot about what we got so much help and support from this society.
Here are some of the unforgettable ones. At my age of 13, my father's company manager bought me the first set of trousers. He said "your father doesn't know how to survive in wrong ways, he is so good".
At the age of 16, when I completed my 10std and got my diploma, a scientific calculator was bought by my brother who had a saloon shop where my father worked as a watchman. Its price was 600rs then. His work for a week. He doesn't know that I am now working in an IT company for 20 years and in a good position. But he did his duty for support the studies for a family who is struggling more than himself.
Now its our time and duty to give back and help the society. And to do it in my father's name is my respect to my father.
I am very sure that we all together can do a good change in the society and let it continue with our next generations to do more good things
